MEN'S
GROUPS
All men are invited to participate in our monthly men's club,
or
the
periodic men's book club to grow in fellowship and faith. This active
group enjoys retreats, helping with maintenance projects around the
church, cooking pancake breakfasts, hearing speakers and card evenings.
WOMEN'S GROUPS Kingston Road offers a wide variety of women's groups, from the well-established United Church Women's groups, to the newly formed Women's group. In addition, there are many additional craft groups that meet regularly such as the Quilting group, and the Scrapbooking, Cards and Crafts group. We even have a Ladies' Bowling group!
SENIOR'S GROUP Seniors cards are offered on a weekly basis at the church, in addition to our wide range of adult groups.
KINGSFOLK SOCIAL GROUP Monthly, Kingsfolk hosts a wide range of social activities for adults so that we can gather and enjoy fellowship. An example of some of the Kingsfolk events are historical walks, games, movies, storytelling evenings, hikes, Christmas potluck, and June pool party and BBQ.
BOOK CLUB Kingston Road has a vibrant book club who meet monthly from September through June to discuss a wide range of books, from Canadiana, biographies, genre and current fiction. We hold potluck celebrations in December and June when we pick our book titles for the next six months. Everyone is welcome to join us, even if only for one meeting when a particular book title interests you.
