Music is a vital component of our worship at K.R.U.  We are very fortunate to have a professional musician of Eric MacKeracher's stature to lead both the junior and senior choirs.  Music is literally Eric's life - he sings professionally with the world renowned Elmer Iseler singers and the Amadeus choir, he teaches organ, piano and voice and also finds time to lead our congregation in music each Sunday.  When Eric is touring with one of his choirs and is unavailable, we are very lucky to have local musician Norm Brown as our backup music leader.  We also have a wonderful junior choir, with members ranging in age between 4 and 13 years.  In addition to these choirs, we are very fortunate to have a band of talented musicians that perform on special occasions - rally day, special music Sundays etc.

Rehearsals for the senior choir are on Thursday evenings between 7:30 and 9:30 in Mitchell Hall and again on Sunday mornings at 10:00.  No experience necessary - just a love of singing!

Rehearsals for the junior choir take place each Sunday morning at 9:45 in the Sanctuary (9:30 during the busy advent season) and they usually perform about once a month in the worship service.  Again, no experience necessary!

If you are interested in taking part in this much loved portion of our weekly service, please contact the K.R.U. office.
