Kingston Road Village Young People's Concerts

These delightful concerts will be announced in October 2026, after the personnel of the
Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra has been decided. We’ll then send out a call to these
amazing young musicians, inviting them to participate in our series. From their responses,
we’ll create a season of concerts that, hopefully, will feature all the instruments of the orchestra.

Now in its third year, the series introduces children ages 0 to 10 to the wonderful world of live classical music in a relaxed and informal setting. At the same time, we’re providing valuable performance opportunities for the next generation of professional musicians.

These 30 minute concerts are free or pay-what-you-can (suggested $10), and all proceeds go directly to the young performers. Each performance is followed by an Instrument Petting Zoo, generously sponsored by Long & McQuade, where children can try out the instruments they just heard.

During the concerts, children are free to move around, draw, or play quietly — the atmosphere is welcoming,

peaceful, and family-friendly. Come enjoy beautiful music in a relaxed setting where you and your children can truly be yourselves.
